Table Six can host luncheon events, with advance notice and planning. However, you can dine on “The Lawn” our sister seasonal restaurant also located at Kemble Inn which does offer lunch and small bites outdoors with unparalleled dining views. Note that “The Lawn” is closed during winter season.
2. Do you take reservation for the “Table Six”?
Yes – and reservations are very strongly encouraged – most weekends throughout the year we are beyond our capacity and cannot accommodate additional last minute reservations. Reservations are always easily and best made on our online reservation system.
3. Can I come to “Table Six” without reservation?
Reservations are very strongly encouraged – we do accommodate walk-in guests when we can.
4. Your reservation system asked me for a credit card – how come?
Table Six is a small restaurant – and it is difficult to accommodate last minute cancellations (or worse, no shows!) therefore, we do require a credit card to hold a reservation and do apply a $25 per person charge for same-day cancellations or no shows. Credit cards are required for reservations made online or by phone – but most guests find it easiest to use our online reservation system.
5. Do you have a kid menu?
Table Six is best suited for those aged 12 years and older. We do not have a children’s menu – but with min 48-hour advance notice we can accommodate some child-friendly menu requests.
6. Is dinner only a prix fixe menu?
Menu offerings change through the year. Holidays are prix fixe only. Our menus are posted on our website here. We have an a la carte menu for most other days, see our location page for details.
7. Do you have a dress code at Table Six?
No, there is no formal dress code – jackets or ties required for gentlemen, for example. We have tried hard to create an environment that is elegant and also comfortable. Some guests do like to dress up a little bit when they come to Table Six – but that choice is yours.
8. Can you accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions?
Many items on our menu are planned and considered for special dietary needs already — but yes we can accommodate. When you make your reservation online – just add your restrictions in the comment box.
9. I have been saving a very special bottle of wine, can I bring it to Table Six to enjoy?
No unfortunately, the liquor laws in Massachusetts don’t permit “corkage” or BYOB in restaurants.
10 I’d like to plan a big party at Table Six – is this something that you can accommodate?
Yes – we love hosting parties and have several dining spaces that we can offer. We’ve been fortunate to be part of many celebrations and corporate events and retreats. Email us what you’re thinking – and we’ll be happy to work with you.
